SDSU_Wireles and eduroam connection issues

  • Reason: During out CNI cutover of Calpulli two ports were connected together on an access layer which which created an instability in the Spanning Tree topology and caused reconvergence throughout the network.

  • Resolution: Reboot the core routers at 12:50pm today.

SDSUid Password reset/Recovery options not working

  • Reason: UCS [Ticket #10013] AZURE Active Directory Sync Down

  • Resolution: Disable and re-enable the Password Writeback feature, also check the synchronization service (it was shut down) and start it up if necessary.

SDSUid Password reset/Recovery options (NEW USERS) not working

  • Reason: AAD Premium P1 licenses were consumed by intent students.

  • Resolution: AAD Premium licenses were ordered (rush) and applied when delivered.

 SDSUid password expiration emails were sent to faculty, staff and students.

  • Date: 4/19/17
  • Length: Single day.
  • Reason: Non-activated accounts needed to be requested/claimed, existing accounts were shceduled for notification.

  • Resolution: New users were instructed to request the SDSUid and activate account.
