Students - Report a Problem

Having a problem with the SDSU network or an application?


Check the Business System Hours page to find the normal hours during which SDSU systems should be available. If a system is unavailable when it should be — and it’s not listed as down on the Status Home page — report the problem as instructed below:

Students


  • AidLink
    AidLink is our secure Web-based, self-service system. AidLink allows you to keep informed about your financial aid and SDSU scholarship application and award process.
    • If AidLink system is down, call (619) 594-6323 or submit an Aidlink Problem Report (weekdays 9 am to 4:30 pm)

  • Blackboard
    Blackboard is an online learning and management system used by faculty to enhance their classroom instruction or for distance education.

  • Email
      • If email is down Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30, call (619) 594-3189.
      • If email is down after hours and weekends, call (619) 594-3189
    • Sciences (all addresses @sciences.sdsu.edu)

  • Library
    • The PAC
      The Library Catalog (the PAC) is a searchable database containing information about the majority of the library's circulating holdings. Use it to discover what books, media, and other materials the library has available for your use.
      • If the PAC is down Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30, call (619) 594-6753.
      • If the PAC is down after hours or weekends, call (619) 594-6793.

    • San Diego Circuit
      The San Diego Circuit is a service designed to allow library users from participating libraries to quickly borrow books from other San Diego Circuit libraries if the books are not owned by their home library or if their library's copy is already checked-out.
      • If San Diego Circuit is down Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30, call 594-6753.
      • If the San Diego Circuit is down after hours of weekends, call (619) 594-6793.

  • Network/Wireless
    Report a wireless outage using Wireless Problem Report.
    When the campus network goes down:
    • Check www.sdsu.edu for message regarding network outage, if SDSU home page does not indicate a problem.
    • If the network is down Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm, report outage to your Help Desk department.
    • After reporting outage, check www.sdsu.edu for updates on network status. 
    • After business hours (weekdays 4 pm) and weekends, call (619) 594-2594.

  • WebPortal  
    WebPortal functions vary for student Applicants, Undergraduates, Graduate and Alumni.
    • If student Webportal functions are down, call (619) 594-6871 or submit a WebPortal Problem Report (weekdays 9 am to 4 pm)

  • Websites
    • Library (sites under http://library.sdsu.edu/)
      • If the Library websites are down Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30, call (619) 594-6753. 
      • If the Library websites are down after hours or weekends, call (619) 594-6793.
    • EDORAS (sites under http://edoras.sdsu.edu/) 
      • If the EDORAS websites are down Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30, call (619) 594-6753.
      • If the EDORAS websites are down after hours or weekends, call (619) 594-3189 or submit an EDORAS Problem Report.
